Hello sophomores. Welcome to 10th grade American literature and composition. I am looking forward to this school year and I hope that you are too. We will be exploring poetry, drama, short stories and novels during the course of the school year. We will also be preparing for the writing and reading sections of the OGT as well as learning about the APA format for research papers. I have been teaching and coaching in the Akron Public Schools for 16 years and I am looking forward to this new experience with Akron Early College.

Hello sophomores. Welcome to 10th grade American Literature. I have been teaching English and history in the Akron Public School system for 16 years. I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year as we study poetry, short stories, novels and the art of writing together. I am also looking forward to helping out with intramurals and possibly starting a Literary Magazine for AECHS in the Spring.
